3D Modelling & Animation Holiday Camps for kids & teens

Technical skills is a key aspect of this course, and students will learn different elements of designing a 3D modeling, design & animation. Students will learn about design processes, such as hard-surface modelling, UV mapping, texturing & materials and lighting. They will also learn 3D animation techniques, understanding how time frames work, and how fully rigged characters function. 

This course will improve your child’s soft skills too. During the camp, students are challenged with different tasks, improving their problem solving skills. Your child will be encouraged to have a creative approach and think outside the box. Ultimately, they’re designing a game, so they can create a world with endless possibilities and imagination. Creating a game similar to the games they play regularly will significantly improve their self-esteem and boost their self-confidence!

This course will help your child progress faster & better at school & college. Students will learn a lot more about 3D modelling & animation.
At Software Academy, you will also have the option to get your child certified. Our NCFE accredited qualifications go up to 3 levels: Level 1 Award, Level 2 Certificate, and Level 3 Diploma. By joining 3 holiday camps, your child will meet the requirements to achieve Level 1 award, and can then progress onto level 2 & 3!

Understanding how 3D animations are made will equip your child with priceless experience and knowledge. Since they will be using industry standard tools and learning real world skills, they’ll be able to discover potential career paths. Learning 3D Design & Animation opens up a world of opportunities, because the skills they learn are highly transferable in other sectors. Additionally, by completing a camp, students will achieve 1/3 of the criteria required to get an NCFE accredited qualification, should you choose to get your child officially certified!

This camp runs during school holidays, so it’s been designed with fun & excitement in mind! But the bigger picture, is that your child will design their own 3D animations instead of watching animated movies.
