Project-based animation education for kids
Our approach for teaching 3D modelling and animation to kids is to ensure students have a hands-on experience. Have a look at the projects our students create!
Level 1: Project 1
For their first project, students will create an aeroplane animation. This project will provide and exciting introduction into the world of 3D Animation.
Level 1: Project 2 & 3
For their next projects, students will create a candy machine and a computer. This will step up the skill level and ensure
students keep learning new skills with every project.
Level 1: Projects 4 & 5
For their final projects of Level 1, students will create a Food Tray and a Fancy House. These projects will enable students to take on even more skills to enable them to start exploring
Blender on their own.
Level 2: Project 1
To welcome students into Level 2, their first project will be an electric sword. This project will explore more new and exciting features of Blender to help take their skills to the next level.
Level 2: Project 2
In their second Level 2 project, students will create a laser rifle animation, diving into new and exciting features of Blender that will further enhance their skills.
Level 2: Project 3
To finish off Level 2, students will create an advert-style
mobile phone animation. This project will focus heavily on
animation, compositing and video editing.
Level 3: Part 1
In Level 3, students will focus on one long “Final Project” – a
futuristic tank. This project will use all the skills students have learned so far, as well as incorporate some new ones. For the first part of the project, students will focus on modelling.
Level 3: Part 2
Students will use the A.N.T Landscape addon to create a
landscape for their scene. This addon will enable students to
create a world of their choosing, from canyons to river and
beyond.
Level 3: Part 3
Students will learn more about the shading editor, such as how to create futuristic camouflage patterns, realistic edge wear, and dirt build up.

You’ll have access to our online video curriculum. Your child will follow along with our step-by-step video lessons and complete their course work.
We have a “No Contract. Cancel Anytime” Policy. If you’re not happy with the course, you can withdraw at any point without making any further payments. No questions asked.
Hardware Requirement:
You’ll need a Windows or Mac computer. As we’re teaching students industry standard tools & techniques, you won’t be able to join on any other devices such as a phone, tablet, Chromebook or Galaxy book.
Software Requirement & Licenses:
All software used in this course is free of charge.
But please note we keep our curriculum up to date to teach your child the most relevant skills. Sometimes this may mean switching to other tools or programs which may involve a license cost. If there is a requirement to pay for any new tools, we will be in touch with you to inform you.
Your child can study our self-guided courses as quickly or as slow as they wish.
If your child completes the course before you have completed your payment plan, you can either:
Pay the remaining fee in a one-off payment & recieve your NCFE Accredited Qualification
Or
Wait out the remaining months for your payment plan to complete and then receive your NCFE Accredited Qualification.
You’ll still be able to sign up for the next level too!
This course provides 3 levels and students must go through each level in order.
You’re not obligated or committed to continuing to all 3 levels. Each level has its own registration process, and you’ll need to register for each level separately.
Assessment is purely coursework-based with no exams involved.
