Project-based graphic design education for kids
Our approach for teaching digital & graphic design to kids is to ensure students have a hands-on experience. Have a look at the projects our students create!
Level 1: Part 1
In their first projects in DMD, students will get to grips with
the basics of Photoshop, understanding the User Interface, using brushes and adjustment layers
Level 1: Part 2
In this segment, your child will get to start their animation
journey! Learning how to create amazing moving graphics and getting an introduction to the 12 principles of animation.
Level 1: Part 3
In the last segment, students will start to create their own amazing vector graphics! Getting started in creating shapes and beautiful flat-style landscapes!
Level 2: Part 1
Starting off in Level 2, students will start to build on their Photoshop skills, creating awesome text projects and editing photographs, Creating Film Posters & Custom Brushes.
Level 2: Part 2
Continuing their journey, your child will continue to build
animation skills by creating keyframe animation and starting to use Premiere Pro.
Level 2: Part 3
In the final section of their Level 2 Certificate, students will enhance their vector illustration skills, and start to create beautiful motion graphics using After Effects.
Level 3: Part 1
In their first projects in DMD, students will get to grips with
the basics of Photoshop, understanding the User Interface, using brushes and adjustment layers
Level 3: Part 2
Students will get more of a taste for a professional animator’s perspective, creating polished animated videos in Adobe animate, learning Advancing Animation & 3D drawing.
Level 3: Part 3
In the final part of the course, students will create lively vector artworks, building on their already advanced skill-base, and creating a beautiful bespoke looping animation in After Effects.

You’ll have access to our online video curriculum. Your child will follow along with our step-by-step video lessons and complete their course work.
We have a “No Contract. Cancel Anytime” Policy. If you’re not happy with the course, you can withdraw at any point without making any further payments. No questions asked.
Hardware Requirement:
You’ll need a Windows or Mac computer. As we’re teaching students industry standard tools & techniques, you won’t be able to join on any other devices such as a phone, tablet, Chromebook or Galaxy book.
Software Requirement & Licenses:
All software used in this course is free of charge.
But please note we keep our curriculum up to date to teach your child the most relevant skills. Sometimes this may mean switching to other tools or programs which may involve a license cost. If there is a requirement to pay for any new tools, we will be in touch with you to inform you.
Your child can study our self-guided courses as quickly or as slow as they wish.
If your child completes the course before you have completed your payment plan, you can either:
Pay the remaining fee in a one-off payment & recieve your NCFE Accredited Qualification
Or
Wait out the remaining months for your payment plan to complete and then receive your NCFE Accredited Qualification.
You’ll still be able to sign up for the next level too!
This course provides 3 levels and students must go through each level in order.
You’re not obligated or committed to continuing to all 3 levels. Each level has its own registration process, and you’ll need to register for each level separately.
Assessment is purely coursework-based with no exams involved.
