About us
Software Academy is the UK’s only academy to provide NCFE accredited qualification to kids in creative tech subjects.
We bring university level education to kids aged 6 to 16, and teaching them industry level tools and techniques.
Our courses include Game Design, Coding, 3D Modelling & Animation, Architectural Visualisation, Graphic Design, Computing Basics, and much more!
We offer 4 study modes: Private tuition, Term Time group lessons, Holiday Camps & Self-guided.
About this role
We’re looking for a confident communicator to join our sales team. Your main job will be to deliver free taster sessions to families interested in our courses. These short online sessions help parents and students understand what we offer — and show them just how fun and valuable our lessons can be!
You will receive full training on every aspect of this role.
You will teach online lessons, remotely from the comfort of your home, and you will also get additional bonuses based on your performance.
This role requires candidates to provide a minimum of 15 hours of availability to the academy each week, but you will be able to set your own flexible schedule (within company guidelines).
Responsibilities:
- Deliver fun & engaging trial lessons to new students
- Answer questions from parents and guide them through the next steps
- Highlight the value of our courses and the benefits of studying with Software Academy
- Keep clear records of leads and follow-ups using our internal systems
About you
We’re looking for talented and flexible individuals are able to teach and sell educational courses.
We’re looking for candidates who have the following skills & qualities.
Skills
Having an in-depth knowledge in one of the following is desirable, but not essential, as you will receive full training for this role:
Python
Unreal Engine
Sketchup
Blender
Adobe (Photoshop/Illustrator)
Scratch
Having sales experience is also highly desirable, but not essential.
Qualities
- Available to work on evenings & weekends
- Have access to a decent computer/laptop & high speed internet connection
- Confident communicator with excellent people skills
- Be able to represent the academy at a high standard
- Good presentation skills
- Friendly, enthusiastic, and great with families
